Daily Schedule

Breakfast

Free breakfast is provided to all students. Breakfast times are staggered by classroom between 8:10 - 9:00 am. For more information and the menu, visit: Free Breakfast Information and Menu.

AM/PM Recess

All grades have a morning recess between breakfast and lunch.

TK, K, and 1st graders also have a PM recess between language lab and dismissal.

Library

All students visit the school library once a week. For resources and hours, visit: School Library Resources and Hours.

Music

• TK-2 students have music once a week, learning songs in English and Spanish.

• 3rd graders have music twice a week (Orff, singing, recorder, note-reading).

• All 4th and 5th graders choose an instrument that they study for 2 years, twice a week, in small instrument-alike groups of 10-15 students with a teacher who specializes in that instrument.

Language Lab

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, all students participate in Language Lab to support their language acquisition in either Spanish or English:

• K-1: 12:45 - 1:15 pm 

• 2-3: 11:15 - 11:55 am

• 4-5: 8:15 - 8:55 am

• Newcomers: 1:30 - 2:10 pm

Science Lab

Students in grades 1-5 have Science Lab once a week.

Physical Education (P.E.)

• TK and K students have Physical Education (P.E.) once a week.

• Grades 1-5 students have P.E. twice a week.

Lunch & Recess

Approximate times as the schedule may change slightly each year.

• TK: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

• K: 11:10 - 11:50 (recess 11:10-11:30, lunch 11:30-11:50)

• 1: 11:30 - 12:10 pm (lunch 11:30-11:50, recess 11:50-12:10)

• 2-3: 12:00 - 12:40 pm

• 4-5: 12:30 - 1:10 pm
