Features Overview
Dance (K-3): In the Fall, Kindergarten, first, second and third graders receive weekly dance instruction in traditional folk dances from Central and South America. During the Latino Heritage Festival the children perform their dances to traditional music and costumes.
Performance (K-5): All students will have the opportunity to perform on stage for family and friends during the school year. Performances are often in honor of various cultures and heritage of people outside the mainstream American culture. For example: African-American, Latino, Women, Native American, etc. Performances and events vary yearly and are dependent on available funds and grants.
